I don't think happiness is the eradication of all...etc. For me it comes and it goes like every feeling. i can experience it even when other things are completely shite.
Agree about the emotional paint though - you can't just have happiness but must be willing to experience the full emotional range.
Isn't paint always emotional. It is for me. I love it when one coins words through slip of the wrists that are actually a hundred times better than the original phrase anyway...
